PY Pro-X Surfski PaddleYak has hit the jackpot with its latest surfski; the PY Pro-X Open Ocean Class Professional Level Surfski. The craft features the same hull as the PY Hurricane, which has proved itself to be one of the fastest craft available, whilst still offering a margin of stability and safety. The PY Pro-X features a high bow profile with deflector, a protective cockpit and a quick-adjusting, single-track foot pedal system. The craft has one hatch with provision for a second for use in marathons or expeditions. The self-draining cockpit scuppers feature safety-first skin fittings. PaddleYak Kingfisher The PY Kingfisher is a well-tested, sit-on kayak which has been completely adapted for fishing and diving. The PY Kingfisher offers adjustable footrests, a flip-flop rudder, self-draining footwells and super-stability, making cumbersome outriggers obsolete. It features a proven, fast and seaworthy hull, a wave-piercing bow and an integrated wave deflector. For the fisherman and diver it offers a stern-well which can carry a large cool-box, aqualung or live bait, two sturdy rod-holders, a medium-sized screw-in inspection hatch with bottle attachment, built-in back-support, a small cutting platform and indents for a kayak trolley. Its most distinctive feature is a central hatch between your legs which gives direct access to the inside of the hull from the cockpit. This hatch offers ample storage for gear, rods and fish. An additional large-sized hatch with a neoprene stretch cover and hard protective lid on the bow allows for easy removal of the catch and for rinsing and cleaning. The bow hatch offers various options in respect of the size of its opening. A smooth, internal, pod-like fibreglass liner completes the picture. PaddleYak offers the craft in polyester and other composites to suit various requirements and budgets. The craft comes with a sturdy inner fish-box contoured to admit easy access, storage and cleaning. For the budget-conscious, or those with special needs, the inner box can be excluded, permitting accesss to the whole inside hull. This will reduce the cost of the craft. |

The craft design has been carefully researched for maximum speed and stability. It is not intended for the totally inexperienced, or oversized. Its primary purpose of the craft is to perform as well as possible under moderate conditions and to be physically pleasing. It has been trimmed to the bone, making it primarily a sprint ski for training and racing, or for stress-free paddling. The craft features PaddleYak's renowned quality fittings and adjustable footrests.It is available in GRP as well as in carbon-fibre, at an additional cost.
